On July 24, a working meeting on the implementation of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Global Initiative "Community Friendly to Children and Youth" was held in Belaya Tserkov. This city among other applicant communities that was selected to participate in the initiative in the Kyiv region. As the sole implementing partner of UNICEF in Ukraine for implementation of the initiative, Eurostrategy met with the City Working Group, by the way it was its first meeting and the first step in its implementation in the city.

  During the meeting, the city's implementation coordinator, Inna Palivoda, made a presentation on "Bila Tserkva Youth," which was already prepared as part of an analytical report “On the state of ensuring the rights of children and youth in the city”. Following the presentation of the Eurostrategy Initiative, the meeting focused on more practical issues of gathering the necessary indicators in the dynamics for at least the last three years, according to Addition 1 in five areas of the initiative. Discussed the technical explanations for the preparation of Addition 5, “A mandatory list of indicators to be used by UNICEF to monitor and evaluate the progress of the situation of children and young people in the community”. Find out what administrative data should be provided by the relevant departments and departments of the city council, how to calculate and analyze them when preparing the report. Discussed the directions of the initiative, how the process of accession, privileges and opportunities for the city community through participation in the program is going. Also discussed the possible return of 1% and 3% income tax after UNICEF accreditation and the corresponding Status!

At the end of the meeting, they discussed possible dates for the development of relevant documents and their approval at a September session of the city council.
