12 - 13 December 2017 International Association "Eurostrategy" organized in Odessa a business workshop "Cooperation with Germany. Myths and Reality" within the framework of the GIZ program «Fit for Partnership with Germany». The workshop was the first event within the framework of the development of the partnership with the GIZ Program in Ukraine and the "Eurostrategy" which opens new opportunities for supporting the business and activities of enterprises in Odessa and the region.
In the workshop took part the heads of small and medium business in Odessa, which are successfully developing in the agricultural, waste recycling, construction, biotechnology and other spheres.
During the event, participants expressed interest in receiving training in Germany, expanding and establishing partnerships with German companies.
The main speakers were the head of the project office of the program of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy of Germany Svetlana Stepashchenko and the project expert Evgeni Klisenko.
Svetlana Stepashchenko presented the program and described the main formats of cooperation in 2018, talked about the specifics of filling out the questionnaire and conducting interviews, about the formation of groups for the internships in Germany. Evgeni Klisenko spoke about the specifics of doing business with German partners and the existing barriers to entering the German market.
The workshop was held in the interactive format using various practical and team tasks that created all the necessary prerequisites for active discussions and discussions by the participants.
Odessa entrepreneurs presented their projects and ideas for cooperation with German partners in the framework of the program «Fit for Patnership with Germany», and also received consultations and preliminary recommendations from the representatives of the GIZ concerning the further actions in the sphere of development of mutually beneficial partnerships with German companies.
