Information seminar "Promotion of the gastronomic heritage of the Lower Danube»

On May 8, the information seminar took place on the project "Promotion of the culinary heritage of the Lower Danube" (RiverFood), which was attended by representatives of the Eurostrategy Svetlana Rogova, Ekaterina Kovzalenko and Elizaveta Tihonova, as well as cooks, cafe / restaurant owners, representatives of the hotel business and media.

The concept and activities of the international slow food movement and the European network of regional culinary heritage were presented at the seminar organized by public organizations-partners of the project "Danube League of culture", "Agricola"and the Agency for cross-border cooperation and European integration «Actie".

Representatives of the Club of Galician cuisine (Lviv) Igor Lillo and Alexey Petelko made presentations "Gastronomic historical codes" and "European network of regional culinary heritage" and it is thanks to their efforts in 2017 Lviv region was accepted into the European network of culinary heritage.Svetlana Zlobina and Yulia Petrenko (Kyiv) presented "Slow Food – world movement for preservation of food diversity, local products and production technologies" and "Slow Food as a tool of regional marketing».

During the lively discussion were discussed the possibilities and prospects of accession of members from Odessa and region to international associations and movements for the preservation of the culinary heritage of the Danube region.
